The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the notification of Common University Admission Test (CUET)- 2024 on 27 February 2024 i.e yesterday. Candidates, who are interested and eligible can apply online for the CUET UG 2024 from the official website cuetug.ntaonline.in or exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG. The CUET UG 2024 Examination is scheduled to be conducted from May 15, 2024 to May 31, 2024. Before submitting the online form, read the notification for this recruitment. The CUET UG examination serves as a common screening test that enables selected students to apply for admission to all the central universities, in addition to many other participating institutions in the country.
Required Documents
The following documents are to be uploaded to the CUET UG application 2024
- The recent photograph should be color or black/white (but with clear contrast).
- Scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG format.
- Size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
- Size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.
- Size of the scanned copy of the certificate should be between 50 kb to 300 kb.
Eligibility Criteria:-
Candidates, who want to apply for the CUET UG 2024 examination must complete the CUET application form. Before registration, candidates must check that they meet the CUET UG 2024 eligibility conditions; otherwise, their candidature will be suspended. See below for the CUET eligibility criteria:
- According to the CUET UG 2024 eligibility criteria, there is no age limit to apply for CUET UG.
- You should have passed your 12th class exam from a known Indian board the subject related to the course you want to study.
- Class 12th-appearing students will also apply.
Examination scheme
There will be 33 languages and 27 subjects. A candidate may choose any subject/language as desired by the applicable University/ Organization. The candidate is supposed to attempt 40 questions out of 50 in each language paper.
General Test: For any such undergraduate program / programes being offered by Universities where a General Test is being used for admission. The candidate is supposed to attempt 50 questions out of a total of 60.

Dress Code
Candidates, who take the CUET UG 2024 exam must adhere to the prescribed dress code:
- Long-sleeved light-colored clothing is prohibited. However, if candidates opt for cultural or customary attire, they must arrive at the Examination Centre at least an hour before the final reporting time. This ensures adequate time for thorough frisking procedures, maintaining the examination’s integrity while minimizing candidate inconvenience.
- Slippers and low-heeled sandals are permitted, while shoes are not allowed.
How to Fill CUET UG 2024 Application Form?
The NTA is made available the CUET UG Application Form 2024 on its official website. The application form in any other mode will not be accepted. To fill out the CUET UG 2024 application, the candidate must carefully follow the steps outlined below.
Step 1: Visit the official website, https://cuetug.ntaonline.in/
Step 2: First, fill out the CUET UG Registration 2024 Form with the necessary information.
Step 3: Candidates will receive login information via their registered cellphone number and email address.
Step 4: The login information should be used by the candidate to complete the CUET application form.
Step 5: In the Following Step, upload the relevant papers, including a passport-sized photograph and signature in the specified format.
Step 6: After Successfully uploading the documents, Candidates should pay their application fee online.
