Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently published the notification for Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET July 2024. Candidates, who are eligible and interested in this CTET Paper I and Paper II Primary and Junior Level can apply online  on the official website https://ctet.nic.in/ from 07 March 2024 to 02 April 2024. The 19th edition of CTET July 2024 will be conducted for two papers – paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 is for recruitment of school teachers for Classes 1 to 5 while paper 2 is for Classes 6 to 8. Candidates who intend to be a teacher at both levels will have to appear for both the papers. The CTET exam is conducted twice a year and the validity of the CTET score is for a lifetime.

Important Details 
Eligibility Criteria:-  

Candidates, who are preparing to apply for CTET July 2024 must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the for these posts. Check the CTET July 2024 eligibility criteria below.

CTET Primary Level (Class I to V)
  1. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
  2. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.  OR
  3. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  4. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII)
  1. Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
  2. At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in final year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
  3. Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
  4. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  5. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
  6. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year B.Ed. (Special Education)*.
  7. Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Moreover, as per the existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET.
  8. Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in final year of three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

  • Enter the required information and register yourselves.
  • Fill the CTET July 2024 application form.
  • Upload the required documents in the given specifications.
  • Pay the application fee and click on the submit button.
  • Download the CTET form 2024 and take a printout for future reference.
