Selection Process

Experience Certificate
Candidates must have one of the following qualifications or certificates:
- Grade 5th or above in one musical instrument from a recognized music institute like TCL (Trinity College London) or RSM (Rockschool), KM Music Conservatory, Bangalore School of Music, TSM (The Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music), GMI (Global Music Institute), Berklee School of Music, etc.
- Diploma or equivalent in music for candidates specializing in Hindustani or Carnatic Classical Music from any recognized University.
- Certificate of participation or awards received at various events, especially for candidates playing wind instruments using staff notation as specified in Educational Qualification Requirements.
Physical Standards
Physical Fitness Test (PFT) includes:
- Running 1.6 kilometers within 7 minutes.
- Completing 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats within the specified time to pass the test.
Height Requirements:
- Male candidates must have a minimum height of 162 centimeters.
- Female candidates must have a minimum height of 152 centimeters

GENERAL
General Instructions for candidates are as follows:-
(a) The candidates should carry their AADHAAR Card as proof of identity whenever they report for the Selection Test and Medical Test. Candidates from J&K, Ladakh, Assam and Meghalaya who are fulfilling the domicile requirement and eligible to appear in recruitment rally, are to carry any other valid photo ID Proof, if Aadhaar Card is not available.
(b) Candidates should be prepared to stay for the entire duration of the tests under their own arrangement. No TA/DA shall be admissible.
(c) Candidates are required to provide an active e-mail ID and mobile number at the time of online registration. This e-mail ID and mobile number will be used by CASB for all communications till culmination of the entire selection process and enrolment for the particular intake. It is also advised to preserve e-mail ID and password for all future communications.
(d) Duplicate/Incomplete/Erroneously filled applications shall be rejected.
(e) Candidature of candidates who applied more than once in response to this advertisement and obtain different registration numbers shall be rejected.
